Wendy adjudicates ASTACAP exams!

The American String Teachers Association holds their Certificate Advancement Program exams several times a year. This year, Wendy will have her students take part in these exams. She will also be adjudicating for other students.

Wendy has seen great improvement in her strings studio since her students have started preparing for ASTACAP. Students must memorized scales and arpeggios, as well as play an etude and a solo piece for an examiner. Students receive a certificate upon passing the exam. Each level follows a natural progression of skills and gives the student a clear idea of what skills they need to master in order to move forward.
