This entertaining polka, originally written for guitar by Juan Alais, has been arranged for the intermediate pianist. It is in the original keys of D and G Major, and features simplified stride playing in the left hand, as well as playing two voices in both hands. Juan Alais (1844 - 1914) was an Argentine musician of British descent. He is known as the pioneer of concert guitar. With 3 contrasting sections, this piece makes an excellent student recital piece!
