This somber dance by Enrique Granados has been arranged for the traditional string quartet - Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola, and Cello. It has been transposed from its original key to D minor. Violin 1 has simple shifts to 4th position, while violin 2 and viola harmonize. Cello has a beautiful, flowing line throughout. With interactive and engaging parts, this is an excellent piece for an intermediate to advanced ensemble.
