This arrangement of "March" from Tchaikovsky's beloved The Nutcracker Suite is for the advancing ensemble. It is written in the original key of G Major, but is abridged and stops at letter E (just before the sixteenth note passage begins in the winds). It retains much of the original bass and cello lines, and adds bassoon, trombone, and tuba parts in the lower strings, with more winds in the piano. This is sure to be an audience favorite in any holiday program!
