Monti Csárdás | Piano accompaniment (violin)
Monti Csárdás | Piano accompaniment (violin)
$2.99
This is the piano accompaniment track for Vittorio Monti’s most famous piece, Csárdás. The intro starts at a sensible quarter note = 56, while the Allegretto Vivace is around quarter note = 120 but is flexible as soloists often push and pull through the repeated sequences. There is plenty of time to make all of the false harmonics speak and to breathe between sections. Monti was an Italian composer and mandolin player. Originally written for mandolin, this work is often performed by advancing violinists, and makes an excellent selection for those wanting to refine their sautillé bow stroke. Performed by Wendy Hellmann.
