This traditional Christmas carol is arranged for solo violin and piano, with the early intermediate violinist in mind. It starts in G Major with a beautiful modulation with jazzy 7th chords to D Major and requires the violinist to play the melody in 3rd position. The piano part is a true accompaniment and does not double the melody. Thoughtful bowings and dynamics have been included throughout. This is an excellent addition to any holiday program!
