This set of 3 lively dances by Theordore Akimenko has been adapted for solo violin and piano. They are written in the original keys of G, D, and A Major, and feature double stops, grace notes, turns, and shifting above 3rd position in the violin. This is a true chamber work in that both instruments play their own parts. The piano part does not double the violin melody throughout and has its own moments to shine.
