This dynamic waltz, originally written for guitar by Juan Alais, has been arranged for the advanced pianist. It is written in the original keys of G Major, E minor, C Major, and A minor, and features melodic material in both the left and right hands, as well as octaves and inverted chords and reading 2 voices at once. Juan Alais (1844 - 1914) was an Argentine musician of British descent. He is known as the pioneer of concert guitar. With its many contrasting sections, this piece makes an excellent choice for a recital!
