This is the piano accompaniment track for Vivaldi’s Concerto in A minor, Op. 3, No. 6, Mvt I. The track starts with a 6 beat intro (beats 3-4-1-2-3-4) so that the violin does not start with a pickup note. It was recorded with a metronome at quarter note = 76 so that the arpeggio passages towards the end are manageable. The piano part is similar to what would be heard in a baroque ensemble - sparse chordal accompaniment. This makes it ideal for students who are still working on projecting their sound or playing on fractional size instruments. Arranged and performed by Wendy Hellmann.
