It’s already July, and we are in the middle of an extreme heat wave here in Northern Virginia. Coming up next week is Basstravaganza, a 5 day camp for young bassists that I am teaching with Barbara Fitzgerald. Afterwards, I head to Uruguay for several weeks to begin the next chapter in my life. In April, I was fortunate to be able to purchase a house, and I plan to spend as much time as I can there. That means transitioning all of my teaching to online lessons, and continuing to build my YouTube channel and craft quality arrangements. Here is a list of all the new publications this month:

I have been fortunate to continue working with oboist Bill Wielgus, and I have learned so much about the colors and versatility of the oboe! We’ve been doing a ton of reading and informal recordings, with plans to record the Tchaikovsky. In the meantime, here’s a little nugget from a recent recording session:
